All products are clean, pure, appetizing and a completely digestible "toothbrush" for dogs. Regular usage results in clean, healthy teeth and gum, and a clean breath. Our white, clean and heavy Rawhide is dried hypodermic interstitial tissue from South American cattle. This tissue is very tough and solid. Simultaneously as your dog chews there is an intensive, grating contact between the Rawhide and the dog's teeth. This is an effective way to keep the teeth free from tartar and dental plaque. By nature, dogs have a great desire to chew on something. This is the only way for them to keep their teeth and molars clean. In nature, wolves and other canines chew on things such as their prey's skin or hide. This chewing on soft, tough material results in clean teeth and molars, and therefore healthy gums. For our domestic dogs, the best - or rather the only - substitute for "Prey hide" is 'Rawhide'.
